About us
Malone Hegarty Solicitors LLP was established in Killarney in 2007, by founding partners Margaret Malone and Peter Malone. In 2008, we were joined by a third partner, Adrian Hegarty.
We’re a Partner-led and client-focused general law practice dedicated to providing clients with comprehensive, efficient and effective legal services in all areas of the law. The success of our practice is built on maintaining long-term relationships with our business and personal clients. Margaret Malone
Margaret Malone is a Partner of Malone Hegarty Solicitors Solicitors LLP. Margaret graduated from University College Cork in 2001 with an Honours Law Degree BCL and thereafter qualified as a Solicitor being admitted to the Role of Solicitors in Ireland in 2005.
She subsequently established Malone Hegarty Solicitors in Killarney in 2007. Margaret practices in all areas of law, with particular speciality in family law, conveyancing and probate.
Margaret has particular expertise acting in difficult and complex family matters acting for both Applicants and Respondents.
Peter Malone
Peter Malone is a Partner of Malone Hegarty Solicitors LLP. Peter graduated from University College Cork in 2001 with an Honours Law Degree BCL and thereafter qualified as a Solicitor being admitted to the Role of Solicitors in Ireland in 2006.
Peter was also a founding partner of Malone Hegarty Solicitors in 2007.
Over the years, Peter has gained extensive experience in all areas of litigation and provides regular court representation to clients in both civil and criminal matters. Peter also has very broad and detailed experience dealing with personal injury, property law, probate and wills and dispute resolution. Peter has acted for clients in a range of matters, from everyday legal issues to very complex cases involving extensive life changing personal injuries, complicated commercial disputes and debt resolution matters.
Adrian Hegarty
Adrian Hegarty is a Partner of Malone Hegarty Solicitors LLP. Adrian graduated from University College Cork in 2001 with an Honours Law Degree BCL and thereafter qualified as a Solicitor being admitted to the Role of Solicitors in 2006.
Adrian worked as a commercial lawyer in Dublin and then joined Malone Hegarty Solicitors as Partner in 2008. Adrian practices in all areas of law, with particular speciality in medical negligence, personal injuries claims, commercial litigation and dispute resolution. He has acted for claimants in cases involving catastrophic brain injuries, medical misdiagnosis, delayed diagnosis and medical malpractice. Adrian has extensive experience in both Plaintiff and Defendant case management.
